The New York City Transit “Redbirds” are currently undergoing an extensive restoration. One aspect of the project was to replace the cars’ deteriorated number boards. The old ones were sent to the NYCTA’s supplier and exact replicas were manufactured. A few extras of each number were also made to raise money to further the project and are now available to you! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the 100% of the proceeds will go to the NYCTA Cars Project.
