The Strahorn Library, located at 118 East Washington Street in nearby Marengo, is a non-circulating research library which focuses on all aspects of railroading. Reference materials include books, periodicals, professional journals, government publications, videotapes, slides, and photographs.
The Illinois Railway Museum is soliciting donations for the Strahorn Library, specifically for building repairs and maintenance, mortgage repayment, and archival supplies and other operating costs. Donations can be made in $25 increments up to an amount of your choice by changing the quantity. The Illinois Railway Museum is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
